You could look at some cards that will play off of his token generation, such as: I love the card, and have multiple copies, run it in a deck, and have it in an upcoming build, but he doesn't really do anything for a deck's theme, unless it's a treasure-focused build.
I don't know how I feel about Mahadi as a commander. Judith is the only real exception, plus Goblin Bombardment I guess. I've done Tress, Thrax, and Grimgrin zombies previously (as well as several different flavors of mono b), so I'm playing the off-color pair on purpose for the challenge and weirdness. I also don't wanna play grixis (or dimir). If you suggest cutting them, please recommend an undeadifying replacement :) So the really expensive garbo like ] and ] have a specific purpose. Notes: Mahadi isn't a zombie I have soothed that flavor ache by running enough of the ] type cards to make him (her?) a zombie. My collection is pretty deep and the expensive powerful stuff that's not in there is probably excluded on purpose for power level. Also, we play over spelltable so I went light on effects that take other people's cards (like ]).īudget: Basically unlimited. Setting: Pretty casual group, mostly upgraded newer precons, with ] ] being the only "faster" deck we see, so I've tuned down the power to be fun in that group. I think it's how I've balanced mana-draw-removal-gameplan cards that's off maybe?
Why I'm asking for help: I've played it a dozen times and it's a little clunkier than I'd like. Do something a little different and interesting. I'd love some feedback on my Mahadi zombicrats deck, help making it flow a bit more.
